West Highlands is a planned community of tree-lined streets, front porches, and shared green space; cared for by a volunteer board of homeowners and the neighbors who pitch in beside them.
how we got here
the development & its history
Built in phases beginning in the late twentieth century, West Highlands grew around its hardwood canopy and natural contours rather than over them. Streets curve with the land, common areas were preserved as the neighborhood's shared front yard, and the pool and trails became its gathering places.
Today the association carries that founding idea forward: a neighborhood worth caring for, cared for by the people who live in it.
